When driving along the A57 Autobahn towards Duisburg, the driver of the Spitzer Silo SF2745 / 3P tank semi-trailer felt his trailer wobble and move away from the driving path. And after a few kilometers, the rattle of the hubs was added to this when turning. It became clear that one of the axles of the tank failed, as the driver immediately informed the dispatcher of the transport company, who contacted the operator of the driver assistance service AWHelp24.
Despite the evening, a tow truck was sent for the train, which transported the semi-trailer to the Autowelt GmbH company freight car service in Niederlauer.
The next day, the mechanics started to fix it. After all, repairing the axles of semi-trailers is several times more profitable than buying a new one.
